Jewelcrafting Profession and the Jeweled Onyx Panther Mount

I finally managed to complete the Jewelcrafting profession and get to 800. Took quite some time, but not too shabby for doing that while still on vacation and not really playing all that much!  And I even got the achievement!  Hoooray!

Yes, still on vacation and traveling all around … our next stop is the Kennedy Space Center!  I am definitely looking forward to playing more when I get home!

On another note, I also completed the Jeweled Onyx Panther mount.  It’s a ridiculous mount in which you need to first create the 4 (yellow, red, blue, and green) panther mounts and then merge the four to create the onyx.  It’s ridiculous because you basically need 2 of each if you collect mounts, one set to learn the four and then the second set to create Onyx mount.  Each mount requires an Orb of Mystery, which costs 20,000 gold, so you can see how this is one very expensive mount.

If you noticed, my fonts are different in each paragraph.  I’m trying out a plug-in in WordPress … TinyMCE.  Seems pretty cool so far  😆

Until next time!

Finally hit 800 on Alchemy!

Today I hit 800 on Alchemy. This patch certainly made leveling professions more challenging. There are several quest chains that you have to complete if you really want to reach the max level. I think this is the longest time it’s taken me in the game to accomplish this. Even vanilla wasn’t this complicated!!

I’ve been working as well on finishing off my Jewel crafting and am 15 points away from max as well. What makes this more challenging is that most of my recipes are either yellow or green, so it’s going to take a lot of crafting to hit 800 which means a LOT of materials, which ultimately means a lot of gold and/or farming. Thank goodness I have a bunch of alts!!!

Today I also made another panther. I now have two complete and just need to craft two more to make the Jeweled panther mount. It’s crazy that each one requires a $20,000 gold mysterious orb.

Hoping to finish off Jewelcrafting soon, and I’ll post it here when it happens!!

As a side note, I found the image above and thought it was perfect for this post.  Credit belongs to the creator,   on desktopwallpapers4.me.

Real life interfering….again!

So I haven’t been able to play much over the past couple of months!!  Between a crohns flare that had me hospitalized for close to a month and now my INR acting up, WoW just hasn’t been possible.

It’s really annoying because it’s looking like I wont be able to complete the Midsummer festival meta ach.  Although I am going to give it one last try tonite😀

I’ll post an update later

A post from the road!

Here’s a post from the mobile WordPress App!  Game time is at a trickle for now as the family vacation has begun !!!

Of course it’s at the same time as the DMF!!

Dangnabbit!!😜😜😜

Till next time….Amp

HuntsforFun goes Hunting!

I decided to play my hunter last night and had a fun time doing it.  I guess after updating this site and writing about the character, it inspired me to play!  I played so much that I went up two levels!!  One day I’ll hit 110, just don’t know when 🙂

I really like having the pet doing a lot of the hard work as well!  It makes attacking enemies much easier as well.

I’ll add more here about leveling Hunts as I get him to level 110.

I can finally fly in Legion and Time Limitations

After reputation grinding to hit Revered for Armies of Legionfall, I can finally fly.  It is amazing how the game changes when you can fly.  Instead of having to rely on the in-game taxi service, you can now fly to wherever you need.  Searching for missing treasure boxes and other special items have also become so much easier.

The ability to traverse around Azeroth without flying was still relatively easier now than in earlier patches , especially once they added the whistle for Taxi service.  Being able to get to a flight path easily, greatly improved game play.

With flying, it’s also much easier to do the dailies on the Broken Shore quest hub zone.  Being able to get directly to the quests makes the experience not only better, but reduces valuable play time to complete the dailies.

As someone who has multiple Alts, my time in Azeroth is limited and having to spend less time on a taxi is important to me.

I’m still fighting the fight for time…. having a family makes playing WoW very difficult, especially when you want to do a darn raid!.

See y’all around the Broken Shore!

The Grind

After doing lots of Legion quests and trying desperately to progress, I am now back to doing the daily quest grind.  I am now working on getting to Revered for the Armies of Legionfall which will let me fly.  I really miss being able to fly !!!!!!

Doing the constant dailies is definitely getting old again. I understand the need for it but it doesn’t mean I have to like doing them 😎😎

Noblegarden 2017

I was really happy that I completed these achievements several years ago.  Since they released a new companion pet for this year that cost 200 eggs, I was really glad that I just needed to work on that and nothing else !!!

The pet is super cute, a nice pinkish rabbit that will leave cute little eggs behind.

Back to rep grinding so I can fly ….. sigh

Mythic+ Dungeons and Quests – A Rant!

In the never ending quest chains that is WoW, I am working my way through one in particular that is requiring me to get some feast supplies for Odyn in Nethlarion’s Lair.  I had a +2 keystone in my bag, and decided lets do that!  After waiting about a half hour, I finally got a good group together and we headed into the dungeon.

Shouldn’t be a problem, right?  Wrong!!!!  No where in the quest text does it say it can’t be a Mythic+.  Yeah yeah yeah, I know.  I should’ve known that since nothing is lootable, I should’ve expected this, but seriously, to get all the way through the dungeon and then realize you can’t loot the item is downright not nice!!!

So, moral of the story:  If a quest requires a mythic dungeon, don’t do it with a keystone.

So much has been going on!!

It’s been almost a full year since my last post and so much has happened!!

Besides trying to get my main toon geared, the new Legion patch has been released.

I’m not sure how I feel about the new patch as they’ve added so much new content and it’s been quite difficult playing catchup.  I feel like they have made getting end game gear almost like a full time job.  It’s more like work than having fun at times.

I’ll be posting more frequently as I go through the new content…. see you in Azeroth!
